DESCRIPTION:Dates = 1.11.22\, 21.11.22 and 28.11.22\nMulti Session Event\n
 \n\nThis training opportunity is open to all staff within Schools 6th for
 ms\, FE Colleges\, training providers\, agencies\, organisations and emplo
 yers who work with and support Post 16 young people.\n\nFor those in roles
  of leadership\, who train others and who are able to influence whole orga
 nisation/setting development in responding effectively to the needs of aut
 istic young people.\n\nFramed in the AET post 16 autism standards\, the tr
 aining provides practical support and resources in support of whole settin
 g improvement.\n\nTraining Objectives\n\n\n\n\n\n 	To understand the impor
 tance of the GAP Principles and Inclusion Promises.\n 	To consider how you
 r provision can embed the principles and promises to ensure autistic child
 ren and young people receive positive provision and outcomes.\n 	To unders
 tand how to embed the AET Frameworks across your provision to improve good
  autism practice\n 	To look at how inclusive provision and structural reas
 onable adjustments can help an organisation/ setting to be outstanding.\n 
 	To consider what is needed to lead culture change in a setting.\n 	To kno
 w about AET resources and guidance that can support leaders to provide inc
 lusive environments through structural reasonable adjustments.\n 	To consi
 der different ways of making structural reasonable adjustments to ensure a
 utistic children and young people are fully supported.\n 	To be able to de
 velop a culture where autistic children and young people feel listened to\
 , supported and included.\n 	To have the skills\, tools and confidence to 
 lead change in their setting.\n 	To have a good understanding of education
 al and whole community legislation related to inclusion.\n 	To reflect on 
 and plan next steps for what is required to lead change and fully embed an
  inclusive culture.\n 	To understand how to embed the Autism Standards Fra
