 rse is for individuals 19+ who are thinking about a career in health and c
 are or who have an interest in developing their alcohol awareness. As this
  course leads to a Level 1 qualification you will be asked to complete a s
 hort initial skills check before enrolling on the course to make sure this
  course is right for you.\n\nThis course will help you: Know about differe
 nces in unit strengths\; know the possible causes of alcohol misuse\; reco
 gnise some of the physical and psychological effects of alcohol misuse\; b
 e aware of the effects that alcohol misuse can have on others\; be aware o
 f the health issues associated with alcohol misuse\; recognise the effects
  of withdrawing from alcohol\; know some of the agencies offering help and
  information about alcohol misuse\n\nYou will take part in discussions as 
 well as working on your own and in a group. There will be an assignment ea
 ch week (quizzes\, finding things out\, etc.) which you must complete in y
 our own time before the next session as it counts towards the qualificatio
