Let’s Talk Online Harms – Free online session
We are excited to announce ‘Let’s Talk Online Harms’, a day of free online sessions on 27th March for practitioners, parents and carers focusing on safeguarding neurodivergent young people from online radicalising influences.
Our sessions will be hosted by Alistair Barfield, who is AuDHD, the director and founder of Deflect and Protect, and a leading expert in neurodivergence and digital harms.
We would like to invite you to a session for practitioners: ‘Safeguarding young people from radicalising influences – best practice responses for those working with neurodivergent young people’
This session will take place from 3:30 – 5pm and can be booked here on Eventbrite.
It will explore young people’s online interactions and how these can expose them to harmful radicalising influences and will consider the specific experiences and vulnerabilities encountered by neurodivergent young people. It will explore research and best practice for practitioners working with neurodivergent young people and their families around online harms.
