SUMMARY:Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) training workshop
DESCRIPTION:A one hour workshop\, this is the preferred way for you to deve
 lop your knowledge and understanding about the LADO service. This will giv
 e you an opportunity to meet some of the team and to ask any questions.\nI
 f you cannot attend the Teams training there is a PowerPoint presentation 
 you can access which will cover the same information.\n\nThe LADO training
  is aimed at all staff and volunteers who are in regular contact with chil
 dren and young people.\n\nLearning Outcomes:\n\nBy the end of the LADO tra
 ining (live training event or the PowerPoint)\, you should:\n\n·    
      Understand the role of the Local Authority Designated Officer (L
 ADO)\n\n·         Understanding the Legal context and framework\
 n\n·         Feel confident about your role and responsibilities
  where there are concerns about someone who works with children\n\n·  
        Feel confident about what should and needs to be referred to
  the LADO (criteria for advice request or submitting a notification)​\n\
 n·         Understand the Managing Allegations &amp\; Safeguardi
