DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nThis training replaces the Recognising and Responding to 
 Neglect Group 3 Refresher.\n\nKey Learning Objectives \n\n 	Understand Ne
 glect: Know how to define neglect and understand how it's different from o
 ther types of abuse.\n 	Identify Signs and Influencing Factors: Spot the p
 hysical\, emotional\, and behavioural signs of neglect.\n 	Impact:  Under
 stand how neglect impacts across the life of the child.\n 	Engagement:  E
 ngaging families when neglect is a concern.\n 	Assessments: Understand the
  effective steps to take when assessing a suspected case of neglect.\n 	Dr
 ift and Delay: Find out more about how we can reduce the risk of long term
 \, low-level neglect.\n 	Information Sharing and Professional Curiosity: L
 earn why these are important skills\, and how to use them in the context o
 f child neglect.\n\nWho is this training for?\n\nThis training is for sta
 ff and volunteers at all levels who work with children\, young people\, f
 amilies\, and parents or carers. It's designed for those who are in a posi
 tion to identify signs of child abuse or neglect.  You might also be invo
 lved in assessing\, planning\, intervening\, and reviewing the needs of th
 e child and parenting capacity when there are concerns. It's also suitable
  for Designated Safeguarding Officers and Deputies.\n\nAll of these event
 s take place online from 9.15am to 2.15pm\, could you add “you need to b
 e able to attend for the whole session – please don’t book if you can 
 only attend for a couple of hours as the training will not be recorded.\n\
 nCost:   no charge for partners in police\, health\, education or childr
 en’s services\n\n£130 for statutory\, private and independent sector\n\
 n£65 for charities or community interest companies\n\nPLEASE NOTE:  If y
