DESCRIPTION:Important Information\nThis course is suitable for staff and vo
 lunteers who work with children\, young people\, families and parents or c
 arers where they are in a position to identify signs of child abuse or neg
 lect and who may then be asked to contribute to assessing\, planning or in
 tervening and reviewing the needs of the child and parenting capacity wher
 e there are safeguarding concerns. This course is also suitable for Design
 ated Safeguarding Officers and Deputies.\nTHIS TRAINING IS DELIVERED VIRTU
 ALLY via Zoom – there is no venue.\nThis multi-agency safeguarding train
 ing incorporates the competencies described in “Working Together to Safe
 guard Children” 2023 and the Intercollegiate Document “Safeguarding Ch
 ildren and Young People 2019.  If you don’t complete all parts of the c
 ourse (modules\, pre-course work and tasks) you will not receive a complet
 ion certificate.\nCancellation Terms\nCancellation Policy – unless ther
 e are extenuating circumstances\, you will be charged if you don’t atten
 d or if you cancel your place less than 4 weeks before the training date. 
 Even if the training is fully funded by the Devon Safeguarding Children Pa
 rtnership (Devon SCP)\, we still maintain the right to charge as non-atten
 dance prevents someone else from attending. We will invoice your organisat
 ion for £130 for a full-day course and £65 for a half-day course.\n\nThi
 s course is fully funded for Partners (including Health (NHS)\, Education 
 (EY)\, Children Services\, Probation). Other organisations may have to pay
