DESCRIPTION:Important Information\nThis course is suitable for staff and vo
 lunteers who work with children\, young people\, families and parents or c
 arers where they are in a position to identify signs of child abuse or neg
 lect and who may then be asked to contribute to assessing\, planning or in
 tervening and reviewing the needs of the child and parenting capacity wher
 e there are safeguarding concerns. This course is also suitable for Design
 ated Safeguarding Officers and Deputies.\nTHIS TRAINING IS DELIVERED VIRTU
 ALLY via Zoom – there is no venue.\nThis multi-agency safeguarding train
 ing incorporates the competencies described in “Working Together to Safe
 guard Children” 2026 and the Intercollegiate Document 2025 “Safeguardi
 ng Children and Young People".  If you don’t complete all parts of the 
 course (modules\, pre-course work and tasks) you will not receive a comple
 tion certificate.\nCancellation Terms\nCancellation Policy – unless the
 re are extenuating circumstances\, you will be charged if you don’t atte
 nd or if you cancel your place less than 2 weeks before the training date.
  Even if the training is fully funded by the Devon Safeguarding Children P
 artnership (Devon SCP)\, we still maintain the right to charge as non-atte
 ndance prevents someone else from attending. We will invoice your organisa
 tion for £130 for a full-day course and £65 for a half-day course.\nThis
  course is fully funded for Partners (including Health (NHS)\, Education (
 EY)\, Children Services\, Probation). Other organisations may have to pay.
