Designed by highly experienced senior manage rs\, the course addresses key dilemmas in balancing the needs of the organ isation\, the employee and the young people to create a different kind of conversation which both supervisees and supervisors find effective.\n\nDat es:           24th and 25th November 2025    and                         10th and 11th February 2025\n\nTimings:       Delivered over 2 days\, running 9:30am to 4pm on both dates.\n\ nKey Learning Objectives:\n\n To equip supervisors with the skills and co nfidence to support and challenge workers to better understand risk and th e quality of work being undertaken with children and families\n Understan d the principles behind supervision models\n Recognise and apply reflecti ve supervision\n Undertake dynamic risk assessment during supervision\n Create clear\, focused\, and reviewable plans and actions\n\nRequirements and Target Audience:\n\n Suitable for staff and volunteers who work at ma nagerial/supervisor level with practitioners who manage/supervise staff in most settings that involve direct work with children and young people.\n No pre-course learning is required\n\nCost: Fully funded by Devon SCP – no payment required (see Terms &\; Conditions below re: non-attenda nce).\n\nPLEASE READ  - Important Information\n\nWhat do I need to know a bout this course?\n\n The course is delivered on-line over two days – y ou must attend both days to receive a certificate of completion.\n It is delivered by our commissioned training provider\, Dialogue\n the link to attend the training on-line will be sent by Dialogue\, our training provid ers – please look out for this\n The training is not recorded so you do need to attend from 9.30am to 4pm.\n A cancellation or non-attendance fe e may be charged (see Terms and Conditions below).\n\n \;\n\nCancellat ions and Non-Attendance - Terms &\; Conditions\n\n Cancellations - yo u or your organisation will be charged if we don't receive your cancellati on at least 2 weeks before the training date.  You can arrange for someon e to take you place if you can’t attend.\n Non-attendance - if you don' t turn up or arrive late/leave early\, we reserve the right to charge you or your organisation.\n What will I be charged?  £130 for a full-day co urse and £65 for a half day course\n Extenuating Circumstances - you wil l not be charged if there are circumstances beyond your control which have had an impact on your ability to attend a course.
