 ears and Public Health Nursing.\n\nAn interactive workshop / training sess
 ion aimed at supporting our community.\n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\n\n\n\n
 The Way We Talk\n\nExploring the link between speech\, language and commun
 ication needs and social and emotional disadvantage\, that has been exacer
 bated by the impact of Covid-19.\n\nWhat is speech\, language and communic
 ation?\n\nWhat needs do young people have in these areas?\n\nHow does the 
 wider social and emotional context exacerbate these needs?\n\nHow do we re
 cognise and support young people who have these needs?\n\nHow can this hel
 p to lower anxiety and low mood?\n\nBreaking the link between speech\, lan
 guage and communication needs and disadvantage\, exacerbated by Covid-19\,
  to improve relationships\, resilience\, social\, emotional\, mental healt
 h and life chances.\n\nYou are invited to attend a workshop to address the
 se questions and to consider your own experiences and those of young peopl
 e you know. You will leave with a raised awareness of how the way we talk 
 can change how young people think about themselves and their environment f
