BEGIN:VCALENDAR VERSION:2.0 PRODID:-//wp-events-plugin.com//7.4.0.1//EN TZID:Europe/London X-WR-TIMEZONE:Europe/London BEGIN:VEVENT UID:0-890@devonscp.org.uk DTSTART;TZID=Europe/London:20221104T093000 DTEND;TZID=Europe/London:20221104T123000 DTSTAMP:20221014T142815Z URL:https://www.devonscp.org.uk/events/tools-to-assess-neglect-graded-care -profile-2-training-3/ SUMMARY:Tools to Assess Neglect (Graded Care Profile 2 Training) DESCRIPTION:These sessions take place on Teams\, you will be sent a link ne arer the time once you have booked a place.\nTools to Assess Neglect (Grad ed Care Profile 2 Training) Duration session one 3 hours and session two i s a 1 hour embedding session (12th January 2023 10:00am - 11:00am).\nBefor e attending this course\, you should have a good understanding of neglect \, be able to recognise the signs and indicators of neglect and understand the impact of neglect on children.\nWe offer a full day training course o n neglect which we recommend you attend beforehand if you have no previous knowledge of working with neglect - Recognising and Responding to Neglec t.\n\n\nThe GCP2 training is split into two sessions:-\n\nSESSION 1 – 3 hours (with the first hour being pre-course study which you carry out bef ore you join the virtual session)\n\nSESSION 2 – 1 hour to follow up an d discuss how you are using the assessment tool – this is where you can ask any questions or discuss any difficulties you are having using the too l in practice.\n\nGraded Care Profile 2  is an assessment tool that suppo rts practitioners to make a judgement about whether or not parental care i s neglectful.  The tool helps practitioners to measure the quality of car e given to a child and can make it easier for professionals to spot when s ub-optimal parenting is putting a child at risk of harm.\n\nPLEASE NOTE:  you have to attend both sessions in order to receive a certificate and ge t access to all the certified practitioner resources.\nThis course is fund ed to attend\, however\nCancellation Terms\nCancellation Policy – unles s there are extenuating circumstances\, you will be charged if you don’t attend or if you cancel your place less than 4 weeks before the training date. Even if the training is fully funded by the Devon &\; Children Fa milies Partnership (Devon SCP)\, we still maintain the right to charge as non-attendance prevents someone else from attending. We will invoice your organisation for £100 for a full-day course and £50 for a half-day cours e.\nThis course is fully-funded for Partners (including  Health (NHS)\, E ducation (EY)\, Children Services\, Probation).
