Free anti-racism and motivational interviewing workshop
A free online monthly workshop is now available to all professionals and practitioners who work for the Devon Safeguarding Children Partnership.
The session with Alasdair Cant and Amrik Panaser is open to all and is in response to Black Lives Matter. The aim of the three-hour workshop is to explore key motivational interviewing skills to be able to have more constructive conversations around racism. It will cover:
- To explore a brief history of racism in the UK
- To outline key Motivational Interviewing approaches and how these can change difficult conversations
- To reflect on our own individual and corporate biases
- To provide an opportunity for skills practice in a safe learning space
To book your free workshop place and receive the Zoom link, either for the morning (9.30-12.30pm) or the afternoon (1.30-4.30pm), please email Lydia Marriott at admin@cambridgetraining.org.
