New online ‘Request for support’ form launches
To make requesting early help support or reporting a safeguarding concern quick and simple for everyone, Devon’s Children’s Service, in consultation with partners, has developed a new online Request for support form.
The form has been designed to be used by professionals, members of the public, and children and young people to request both early help support or to report a safeguarding concern. The new online form went live in January, and we will be phasing out other versions of referral forms that are currently being used by early spring.
For issues accessing the form or technical queries, please contact the customer service centre on 0345 155 1071. If you’re a professional and have any practice queries, please speak to your manager or designated safeguarding lead.
There are some helpful hints about completing a Request for support, or you can read more about our plans for improvements to our front door service.
If you require advice or wish to discuss a request for support with a social worker, you can continue to call the MASH Consultation Line on 0345 155 1071 or email mashsecure@devon.gov.uk. Remember, if a child is at immediate risk contact the police on 999.
