A draft structure chart for the proposed Devon Safeguarding Children Partnership (Devon SCP).

At the top of the main partnership structure is the Devon Safeguarding Children Partnership Executive, under which sits the Learning Development and Implementation Group (LDIG). The LDIG, in turn is fed into by the Child Safeguarding Practice Review Group (CSPRG); the Quality Assurance and Workforce Development Group (QAWDG) and the Safeguarding Area (the latter having its own structure detailed in a separate section).

Three other separate areas are included under the main partnership structure. These are: Locality Partnerships; Partnership Communications; the Devon SCP Business support Team.

The Safeguarding Area section of the chart includes the following services.

Under the governance of Devon County Council Children’s Services are: Local Authority Designated Officer; Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub; Independent Reviewing Officer/Child Protection Chairs; Missing and Child Exploitation Meeting;
Adolescent Safety Framework; Early Help.

Under the governance of Devon County Council and the Integrated Care Board is Health and Social Care Strategic Forum.

Under the governance of the Sexual Assault Referral Centre is Child Sexual Abuse and Sexual Exploitation Group.

The Education Advisory Group is currently without an area of governance.

Under the governance of Devon County Council Communities is the Safer Devon Partnership.

And under the governance of Devon County Council Adult Services is the Devon and Torbay Adult Safeguarding Partnership.
