Making a request for support – children and young people

How to ask for help

Complete our online form at any time using your phone, tablet or computer.

Before you start

So that we can help you as quickly and effectively as possible, there is certain information you’ll need to give us. This will include:

  • your name
  • a contact number
  • your date of birth (or estimated age if not known)
  • the school or education setting you attend
  • your address (or a place you can be located if not known)
  • as much detail as possible about why you are contacting us

Submit a request for support now

If you’d prefer, you can call us on 0345 155 1071 – our lines are open Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 4pm.

If you need help in the evening or at the weekend, please call our Emergency Duty Service on 0345 6000 388.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call the police on 999.

What happens next

We will contact you to talk through your request and agree on the best way to provide you with the help and support you need.

We will only use the information you share with us to make sure we fully understand your request and to help us get the right support to you quickly.
