Why does it matter?

To align with the learning that recently came out of our local Child Safeguarding Practice Review, the conference will focus on:

  • key practice and areas where neglect is most challenging, so that we can notice and respond to neglect early
  • improving multi-agency safeguarding practice to enable us to respond effectively and collaboratively
  • building and enhancing the safety and wellbeing of children and young people to secure better outcomes
  • supporting a values‑led, restorative, and evidence‑based approach which is essential to safeguarding practice

Who should attend?

Practitioners, managers, senior leaders and volunteers from all partner agencies working with children, families, adults or communities who are responsible for the assessment of children and families, understanding their lived experience and safeguarding their wellbeing.
