DAC Babies, Children and Young Persons’ policy report: Post launch webinar for health policymakers and professionals (MA-H)
The Office of the Domestic Abuse Commissioner invites you to a webinar following the publication of her policy report on responses to children as victims of domestic abuse in their own right, as enshrined in Section 3 of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021. Centred around children’s voices, the report brings together policy, practice and research to turn the spotlight on the legal status of children as victims in their own right. The reports are supported by a suite of recommendations aimed to improve statutory and multiagency responses to children, including prevention, early intervention and recovery.
This webinar is aimed at health department policymakers and professionals working in any health setting where they work with families or babies, children and young persons. It will cover the overarching themes in the report and the recommendations that the Commissioner makes specifically relevant to health settings.
