Reducing Parental Conflict Toolkit Training for Practitioners

When

10/10/2024
10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Who it’s suitable for:  This training is suitable for all staff who provide support to families.

Aims and Objectives:

Conflict is a natural part of any healthy relationship. However, if conflict is frequent, intense, and poorly resolved, it can have a detrimental impact on families. There is compelling evidence to suggest that conflicts between parents can significantly affect a child’s self-esteem, mental and physical health, behaviour, academic achievements, school attendance, relationships, and other long-term life opportunities.

The training will last for 2 ½ to 3 hours, and it will cover topics such as parental conflict, research findings, and the impact on children. The training will offer valuable insight and effective tools that parents can use to support their learning.

You will receive a paper copy of the toolkit during the training, and an electronic copy will be sent to you after attendance.

Venue : Exeter (Room to be confirmed – Lucombe House, County Hall, Topsham Road, Exeter)
