Join Charlotte from Together Devon for an overview of the service, including what treatment pathways, what to expect from the referral process and the initial meetings with a worker. Gain an understanding of the different roles within the service e.g. family worker, criminal justice worker and support worker. Hear about the the groups on offer including SMART recovery and Flourish in Nature. The session will also include:
– Information on how to recognise and respond to withdrawal from alcohol and opiates
– Overdose awareness and a discussion on current trends in the community
– A discussion about Naloxone, how to use this and the offer to make contact to book in-person training and dispending of Naloxone kits.
