New Integrated Domestic Abuse Support Service
On April 1 our new integrated Domestic Abuse Support Service, known as the Devon Domestic Abuse Alliance, will be launched.
The Alliance will provide services across Devon excluding Torbay and Plymouth, and it aims to transform how people in the county access and receive domestic abuse support. Access to the service will be through an integrated gateway that will then work with the person needing support in a way that works most effectively for them.
A short presentation explaining how the Devon Domestic Abuse Alliance will work is available.
New service launches 1 April
The main access details from 1 April are:
👉 Devon Domestic Abuse Alliance (DDAA)

📧 hello@ddaa.org.uk
🖥️ https://ddaa.org.uk/ (a simple online referral form will be available here)
Current provider and existing cases
Please note that the current provider, FearFree, will stop taking the current domestic abuse service referrals on 31 March but will remain a key partner within Devon running other provision such as the ITRS.
- Any referrals that have been made to FearFree up until the 31 March but that have not been actioned will transfer to the new service.
- Any open cases that are currently with FearFree, if consented to by the individual, will also transfer to the new service.
Other important information
Any high-risk cases will be held through the process to ensure continuity of care and appropriate risk management, and MARAC engagement will be prioritised.
The existing service number will be redirected to the new service for a period of time to allow for transitions, but we would encourage partners to use the new 0808 number as soon as possible.
Should you have any questions before the 1 April please do email domesticabuselocalpartnership-mailbox@devon.gov.uk, and we will endeavour to either answer or direct your query.
