This year’s SaFest has unfortunately been postponed to 2026

Unfortunately due to lots of unforeseen circumstances, SaFest 2025 which was due to take place next week has had to be postponed until 2026. The new dates are Monday 9 – Friday 13 February 2026.

Three of our four SaFest organising team members are now unavailable for the planned Safest week starting on 24 November 2025. This means we’ve had to make the very difficult decision to reschedule SaFest this year.

We’re truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We know how much planning and anticipation has gone into this, and we share your disappointment. Our priority is to ensure SaFest runs to the high standard you expect and deserve.

The good news is that SaFest will now take place during the week of 9 – 13 February 2026.

SaFest is an annual online safeguarding festival dedicated to fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among professionals from a diverse range of sectors. This unique event brings together experts from Social Work, Police, Youth Justice, Child Exploitation teams, Domestic Abuse services, Education, and many more, creating a vibrant platform for interdisciplinary learning and support.

If you have already booked your place, it has been automatically moved over to the new dates and we will assume that you would still like to attend unless you cancel your booking. If you haven’t yet booked, you can do so on the Devon Education Services website.
