New strategies on Child Exploitation and Sexual Abuse launched

We’re pleased to announce the launch of our Child Exploitation and Child Sexual Abuse strategies.

Our Child Exploitation and Contextual Safeguarding strategy covers definitions and types of exploitation, an introduction to contextual safeguarding, the 4Ps approach to Child Exploitation, and the priorities, governance, and support going forward. Our Child Sexual Abuse strategy is based on what survivors say needs to change and uses local and national data to shape a vision and priorities for Devon.

These multi-agency strategies directly link to two of our top priorities: improving our partnership approach and response to child neglect, and improving response to need through developing multi-agency contextual safeguarding approaches.
