16 Days of Action – the campaign to end gender-based violence
16 Days of Action is an annual campaign which takes place between 25 November (the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) and 10 December (World Human Rights Day). It’s a global call from organisations and individuals for an end to gender-based violence, and for the prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls.
Throughout the 16 days, organisations and community groups across Devon will be hosting a range of events and activities to help bring together communities, shine a light on the support available to victims and survivors and to campaign to end all violence against women and girls. Alongside these, Safer Devon are running a social media campaign which you can follow on their Facebook or by searching #16DaysDevon.
Take a look at all of the events and activities taking place locally on the Safer Devon website.
