Safeguarding Supervision course (Safeguarding Network)
Safeguarding Supervision course is scheduled to start on 8th January 2026 from 4pm until 6pm. The course will be delivered over Zoom in 2-hour sessions, spread over 6 days. These days are: 15th, 22th and 29th January, and the 5th and 12th February.
This course aims to enhance the structure and approach to supervision by empowering staff members. This will be done by training you on how to effectively tackle key dilemmas in balancing the needs of the organisation, staff, and most importantly, the children and young people involved. The unique conversation style fostered through this training has proven to be both impactful and beneficial for both supervisees and supervisors.
Course aims and objectives:
- Understand the principles behind supervision models.
- Recognise and apply reflective supervision.
- Undertake dynamic risk assessment during supervision.
Create clear, focused and reviewable plans and action.
