New universal report form set to be launched

A universal report form for professionals to complete ahead of Child in Care reviews is being launched on Monday 14 July.

Until now, the Quality, Assurance, Reviewing, and Safeguarding Service (QARSS) has not had a standardised report form for professionals to complete ahead of Child in Care reviews. After much thoughtful collaboration and effort, the new universal report form has been created.

This form provides professionals with an opportunity to share insights, reflections, and opinions for each child prior to their review. It is accessible to all organisations, not just those within Devon County Council. Our goal is to gather meaningful contributions that help shape the content of future Child in Care reviews – enhancing the quality of discussion and deepening the impact of every child’s journey.

We warmly encourage you to share your professional perspective. Whether you work in health, education, support services, or any organisation connected to a child’s care, your input matters. By completing this form, you directly influence the framework and integrity of each Child in Care review. Thank you for helping us build a brighter, more thoughtful future for every child.

Please be aware that a link to the form will be included in each professional calendar invitation. For your convenience, you can also access access the Professional Child in Care Report Form here.
